Sorry I can't make it to the reunion. It would certainly be interesting to see people again after all these years! I live in Adelaide with my partner Shaun and our child Milo who is 4 years old (yes, we were late starters!). Life is good. Apart from being a mother, I have my own event management company, have been doing that for many years. I went to Busselton High from 1973-75 (Years 8, 9, 10). I will keep checking the website to see how many faces I recognise. Natalie Falcinella |

| Thanks for thinking of me. I will keep the highschool site bookmarked. It has been a full last 12 months with getting the whole family over to holland for 5 months and playing, rehearsing, writing and performing over there. I hope to have a new recording with our collaborations within the next year. I will fill you in a little of the goings on, and hope you might pass on my info to anyone interested. Also I am including links to myspace from my holland site we set up as well as a personal webpage but its not been updated for a while...:) When I left school I started studying at secondary teachers college in Nedlands sharing a house with my dear friends Elizabeth Johnston and Robin Moyses, then moved on to do a Fine Arts degree at Curtain Uni. Finally I gravited to music and got together a band which led to me realising a whole path I hadnt really planned on but has been the backdrop of my life experiences, friendships and spiritual journey too ever since. I have been doing music as my main pursuit now since 1986, so quite a long time with various amounts of success. Having most exposure with the band Martha's Vineyard which was formed in Perth. These days I still enjoy performing and writing my own songs in various outfits. Geoff also plays now adding some great hand percussion. My partner Geoff and I have been together for over 16 years and have two wonderful boys we homebirthed now 6 and 12 years old. We met in the Blue Mountains and moved around a lot but we are living in Elands mid North Coast of NSW. It is quite remote, with 12k of gravel road up an escarpment to a healthy reclaiming rainforest. It is a very creative little community of around 1,000 people. I also have studied some alternative healing arts and I'm a practitioner of Reiki, Quantum Touch, Thought Field Therapy and now I'm finding amazing insights for emotional healing as well through The Sedona Method. I hope to get back to WA this summer, to catch up with family whom I haven't seen since 2000. Please feel free to pass on my email address to anyone who would like it. Hope everyone has a wonderful reunion!!!! Please keep in touch Wendy I'd love to hear what you've been up to. x best wishes Peggy my homepage for my music site is at: www.peggyvanzalm.com I also have info and distribution through www.cdbaby.com/all/peggyvz or join me at myspace and find out about my recent holland sojourn www.myspace.com/peggyvanzalmsblackberrywine I am interested in organics and health and recommend these Australian organics - my other business at: www.havenorganics.com |

| Great to hear about the reunion through FriendsReunited and via Murray and the local newspaper. Unfortunately already have commitment on 31 March but really really disappointed not to be able to get there as I have greatly enjoyed the last too. Can't get out of my commitment either. I was really hoping to catch up with some who have not been to previous reunions etc. Peter Arthur, Phillip Reynolds and Debbie Mangini. If you hear from them, I would appreciate you passing on my wish to catch up - maybe they are even in the big city of Perth - we could do drinks after work sometime or even better still a Sunday afternoon coffee somewhere - this may appeal to others - a bit later this year. Great to hear from you. Will send more news later, before the reunion so that you can put it up for others to read. Regards Carol Davis nee Rynvis |
| (31st march 2007) Hi Coming to you from an internet cafe in Singapore on the way to Frankfurt. I guess you can deduce that I won't be at the re-union tonight. One of the downsides of this job, I'm afraid, is lack of control of ones life! Unfortunately a trip swap was not available... Anyhow thanks so much for keeping me informed about the event. I didn't manage to get down to Busselton last week after returning from the skiing trip to Japan. I do have a week off (after this trip and the Los Angeles trip that follows) so should be down there in about 3 weeks. I'll get in touch then and hopefully you can tell me all about it and show me some photos. Bye for now. Hi to everyone and i wish you all a fantastic night. Regards, Mike Strong |
| Hi Thanks for your Email. Just confirming that I will not be able to make it to this reunion but will the next one! Hope all goes well and give my regards to everyone. Love Francine PS If anyone would like to contact me I am happy for you to pass on my Email address. xx |
Love the website!!!!!!!!!!! Mike Thompson |
| 1st April 2007 Thanks to everyone who organised last nights school reunion! It was just fantastic! Can't wait until the next one! Rita Willmott (Galonski) |
Many thanks for a great night. Regards Julie Cockman- Saunders |
| Thank you Wendy and Mike, The time you both put into making last night the sucess it was is a credit to you both. I look forward to the next gathering, when talking to friends about the reuions we have had, I have come to the conclusion that this occurance is rare, most never have the opportunity to get together as we have done. The reason being there are no Wendy's and Mikes in their school year. So again a big thanks. Kind regards Ann Miller |
| Sorry to miss the fun. Had to work and could not get a replacement. Nursing. Sounds like it was great fun catching up. Judy Barkla (Hopkins) |
| Congrats for organizing a great get together Denise Kennedy (Avery) |
| What a great night. More than 3 people recognised me, so I was very pleased. I think we should have our next reunion the year we turn 50 in 2010. I want to see you all again. Will you be there?? Cheers Lyn (Sidebottom) |
| I wish I'd said that. Peter Locher |

Hi Wendy, Mike, ( By the end of the night I had remembered you ) and others who assisted with the reunion Thank you so much for all the efforts in getting it together. It was a awesome night. I'm still smiling. Its just so good to catch up with people who have shaped your life in one way or another. Once again Thank you. Looking forward to the next one. Yvonne (Vernon-Bates) |
| Hello Wendy I should have brought these photos to the reunion (I thoroughly enjoyed the reunion). If you want to use them you are welcome. Looking forward to the next one. I saw Lyn Sidebottoms mention having the reunion when we turn fifty. See what others think, maybe we can find out our birthdays to pick a date. Your birthday date because you have kept us in touch. I will keep watching out on the website to keep in touch. Thank you and Mike for organising the reunion and all your hard work. Cheers Marianne Lagerwey |
| Just a note to thank you and Mike very much for all your hard work in putting together a highly successful Reunion on Saturday. I enjoyed it very much (after getting over the nervousness!). It seemed that others were having a good time too. Didnt manage to catch with everybody , as the time seemed to go very fast. Looking forward to the next one! Also thanks for the great website - it was wonderful to see all the old photos and to see some of the ones of people who couldnt be at the reunion. Once again, thank you for your hard work and will try to catch up with you next time I am in Busselton. Best wishes Denise |
| Great website Paul Hutchins |
| Wendy and Mike, thanks so much for all the effort to put this year's reunion together. It was SO much fun, and I had a great time catching up with everyone. You both deserve a huge vote of thanks for bringing us all together. For some reason it just made sense to jump on a plane at the last minute, and I'm so glad I did. It didn't seem like such a big deal - just a plane ride, albeit a long one. Just got back to Canada yesterday, and I have a house-full of company who will soon be bored to sobs with my high school stories...but what the heck! It was great seeing all the familiar faces, and I'd be happy to hear from anyone who cares to stay in contact. Thanks again, Wendy and Mike! Terri |
| 17th April 2007 Hi everyone, what a great night we all had thanks to Wendy and Mike on 31st March. Didn't have time to catch up with everyone there. Had a hard time remembering (must be old age) but as the night went on talking and socialising helped the old brain kick in, and for days after I would remember things from the past. Great website, thanks again Wendy a Mike. Mike I'm pleased to say I am remembering you. Best wishes to everyone Carol (Ellis) |
| 17th April 2007 Thanks Wendy and Mike and all the many people I have not seen or spoken to for such a long time to make it a truly memorable evening. It was an amazing night to realise the outer shells may have changed for us all, but when I got talking to all those I caught up with, the teenager of all those years ago still lives in us all. May it live in us all for many years to come!! Cheers to all. Brian Cross |
| 13th April 2007 Hi Wendy, I've been really enjoying the messages, the photos and photos and photos.....keep them coming. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to you and whoever is helping you with the website. I don't know how much it costs to setup and maintain a website like this but I would be willing to pitch in so that it can be continued, let me know if I can help in that regard. The photos with the names really helped me get my mind updated, however they also helped to go back and remember people that I hadn't thought about since leaving school. The idea of having a get together when the class turns 50 sounds like a plan to me, I have plans to make it back to WA during the summer of 2010-2011. When you get chance, I would like to have the contact info/ email address on a few people. Glenn Towers, Kevin Bell, Doug Halligan, for starter. I was also wondering if Robert Rose was contacted or made contact? Thanks again for all you've done with the reunion and website, it's been a real blessing for me, halfway around the world. Regards Gilles |
| Hi everyone, Sorry I missed the big night.Only found out about it when talking to Norman Bailey and he had Wendy's E-mail address .Would have loved to have seen everyone again. It is so amazing seeing the photo's.You did a great job Wendy and everyone else that helped.Hope to talk to you soon. Love Kerrie Martin (Rendell) |
| 2-5-07 Heart felt thanks for organising the reunions for us. Great time had at every one.... EVERYONE MUST COME to next one! Lynn Lucas (Wilder) |
| Although I'm late in sending this message I would just like to say thankyou to both you and Mike for making a wonderful evening to remember. It was so very interesting to see what paths everyone had taken through life to this point and great to have the opportunity to reminisce over our school days. Most of all our freindships still remain and I thoroughly look forward to the next reunion which I hope becomes easier for you to organise. Cheers, Sally Tubb (nee-Float). |
| Isn't it fascinating to see what some of our friends do for a living? Here are a few photos from Mike Strong, which prove he really does get to see the world, from the number one spot - the drivers' seat of those big aircraft! (as opposed to people like me who get the mundane seats at the back of the plane, "economy" style....) Thanks Mike! |
Hi Wendy, Unable to make school reunion, was in Sydney at the time, may be next time. Fantastic photo's looks like it was a real hoot. Happy for you to make my e-mail address available for future contacts from our year. Bye for now Robert. (Hartley) |
love to talk to some of my old school friends from 1966 - 1975 Wayne Lee |
